gustavo Galindo

With an American mother and Mexican father, Gustavo is a chameleon of two worlds. His sound is a combination of traditional and contemporary musical styles such as pop, rock, folk and country. His debut album "Entre la Ciudad y el Mar", produced by Gustavo Santaolalla gave him his first Grammy nomination in 2012.

Gustavo returned in 2017 with new music, presenting "Nada Que Perder", "Grita al Cielo", “Corazón en Llamas" and “Un Paso Al Día”; songs that deal with themes from real life: equality, passion, respect, loss, hope and love for oneself and the others. These songs are part of “Renacer”, Gustavo’s new album.

Gustavo Galindo's latest EP titled "The Lucky Ones" displays Gustavo's growth as a singer-songwriter where his love of rock, americana and pop music meld nicely with producer Josh Sonntag's sonic landscape.
